This online course can be used three ways:

1. Just Browsing: People interested in hunting can learn more about hunting.

2. A Head Start: People about to take a hunter education course can get a head start before their official hunter education class. IMPORTANT: If you intend to take an official hunter education course, CHECK FIRST with your state, province or territory.

3. Homework Credit: New Mexico recognizes this on-line manual as meeting the home study portion of its alternative delivery course.  After completing this manual you will receive a certificate attesting that you have completed this on-line study and it will allow you to enroll in an Alternative Delivery course.  For a complete listing of all Hunter Education classes in New Mexico go to the Game and Fish website at www.wildlife.state.nm.us and look under the education tab, then select Hunter Education.
